Rensselaer is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Rensselaer is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Placed an order at 230p with my slice app. Opens at 3p. Received text that they are busy and not available for pick up until 324pm. Arrived at 335 pm and was told ovens were down so my order was not ready. Unable to give me anticipated time for pick up. Unable to refund my credit card. Told me to call slice. Had never been here before but advertised brick oven pizza. Would never come back. Very unprofessional, looked unkempt. Would not want to purchase anything from them!

The food here is truly delicious, so I am disappointed to have to leave this review, but it feels necessary after the way that I was spoken to by a man who works here. My order through grubhub was accepted and my card was charged. Shortly after, I received a call from a man at this establishment telling me that they would not be making my order because it did not meet the $25.00 minimum. My order was $22.55, which I mentioned to the man. His response was simply "not gonna happen." When I inquired as to how to get my money back he essentially stated that it wasn't his problem. I stated that they can't just take my money and not make the food, at which point he hung up. I called back to figure out what was going on. A really pleasant young woman answered the phone and explained that Grubhub had the money, not the business. She canceled the order and I received my refund. This is now the second time that the same man from this business has been rude to me. This was my first time ordering from them again after the last incident. Unfortunately, despite the good food and the one kind employee, I cannot justify spending my money at an establishment where I've been treated poorly tw

Figured we would try this place because of the brick oven they advertise. Ordered $65.00 worth of pizza and wings..waited for an hour. Went in and seen that it is NOT wood fired. Inside was standing room only and dirty. A guy Came out Of the back and had no idea of our order.. then an owner Came out Of the back and said βi cancelled your order cause we dont have any dough.β I said a pizza place with no dough.?. he said rudely βit happens in this business. First time Customer and last time customer.. great job.. no dough at a pizza place..!!

Ordered boneless wings and was delivered a box of left over parts. It looks like potatoes were thrown in as well and they cut left over chicken up, then threw hot sauce on it. I was excited to try a new place, but very disappointed. I gave them 2 stars because they delivered.

Just had the chicken marsala Monday special. It was excellent! The chicken, mushrooms and pasta were cooked perfectly and the flavor was spot-on. The portions were great! It's hard to find this dish as takeout in our area, so don't sleep on it! It comes with garlic bread that has a wonderful, pillowy dough and is seasoned perfectly. The persoanl pan pizza we had was another pillowy soft dough with great sauce. I'm impressed and will be a regular customer.
